This boutique hotel in Koukaki is conceived as a refined urban retreat, balancing compact city living with light, greenery, and material warmth. The architectural massing is articulated through clean geometries, subtle setbacks, and layered terraces that soften the building’s presence within the dense urban fabric.
Continuous balcony planters introduce a strong biophilic identity, transforming the façade into a living surface. Integrated warm lighting highlights the horizontal lines and greenery at night, reinforcing the hotel’s character while enhancing the streetscape. Deep window reveals and generous openings optimize daylight, ventilation, and thermal comfort in response to the Mediterranean climate.
Interiors follow a warm contemporary minimalism, combining natural wood finishes, neutral tones, and indirect lighting to create a calm, residential atmosphere. Selected rooms incorporate skylight openings, enriching spatial quality and daylight penetration. Bathrooms feature a refined palette of stone, textured surfaces, timber cabinetry, and matte black fixtures, with ribbed glass partitions allowing light while maintaining privacy.
The project delivers a compact yet generous hospitality experience, rooted in contextual sensitivity, material clarity, and a strong connection between architecture, light, and landscape.
