This June, THE ARDE STUDIO® will be in Copenhagen — one of the most influential design capitals globally — to attend 3daysofdesign. More than a design event, it operates as a living platform where ideas are tested, materials are reimagined, and new ways of living begin to take shape.

One of the most influential design capitals in the world. And for three days — 10 to 12 June 2026 — the entire city becomes a living exhibition.

3daysofdesign is not a convention center fair. It is Denmark’s official design festival, conceived as a platform to showcase and celebrate great design — unfolding across showrooms, galleries, installations, and open spaces in districts from Nordhavn to Christianshavn. In 2025, over 460 brands exhibited and more than 60,000 visitors attended, choosing from over 600 events. This year, the theme is Make This Moment Matter — a call to design that is present, intentional, and grounded in now.

We will be there with intention.

What is the essence of design?  Many will look to the past. As Danes, we wouldn’t be where we are today without our proud past. The legends of our design masters continue to live on in our hearts, and in the spirit behind so many designs today. Whereas, others will look to the future. You can make a trajectory of possibilities and predictions. Still, it’s all conjecture. Speculation. The past is rich with stories that will forever inspire us. The future is full of stories yet to be told.

So where does that leave us? In one of the most profound places you can be.  The present. Where the only moment that matters is now. It’s a compelling point of view that inspired our 2026 theme: Make This Moment Matter.

What the Festival Is About

3daysofdesign is built around a convergence of the disciplines that shape how we live. The 2026 edition brings together conversations and showcases across contemporary furniture and spatial design, material innovation and sustainable production, architecture and interior environments, lighting, objects, and tactile craft. Alongside the exhibitions, the festival hosts design talks, product launches, curated Design Walks through the city’s districts, and Long Table Dinners that turn the creative exchange into something more intimate. It is a format that resists the artificial — no single venue, no single narrative — just design meeting the city on its own terms.

Why Copenhagen?

For decades, Copenhagen has set the tone for a quieter, more enduring approach to design — one rooted in:

• simplicity
• craftsmanship
• human-centered thinking

Here, design does not seek attention. It earns it.

There is an effortlessness to the way spaces, objects, and materials coexist — a sense that nothing is excessive, and nothing is missing.

What We Intend to Explore

We are not going to chase trends. We are going to observe what holds long-term relevance.

Across the city’s design districts — from the raw industrial character of Holmen to the refined showrooms of Frederiksstaden — our focus will be on:

  • emerging material narratives
  • new definitions of contemporary luxury
  • evolving spatial experiences
  • the intersection between furniture, architecture, and the body

The festival brings together designers, architects, and brands in a format that is open, urban, and experience-driven — design integrated directly into the fabric of the city. That kind of access is rare. And we intend to use it fully.

What interests us is not what is new — but what is meaningful.

Part of Our Process

At THE ARDE STUDIO®, design is never a closed system.

It is shaped continuously through:

• exposure to new contexts
• careful observation
• ongoing refinement

Being present in a city like Copenhagen is not just about inspiration — it is about calibration.

It allows us to position our work within a broader, global conversation about where design is heading.

What This Means for You

When we return, you will not receive a trend report. You will receive perspective — firsthand observations from one of the most significant design gatherings in Northern Europe, filtered through the specific lens of what we believe matters for the spaces and projects we work on together.

That is the kind of intelligence that shapes better design decisions.

Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to receive our reflections, visual notes, and considered takeaways from Copenhagen — and to stay close to how our work continues to evolve.

To Be Continued

This is only the starting point.

We will return not with trends, but with perspective — a considered understanding of what truly matters in contemporary design, and what is worth carrying forward.
