Located on Meliteon Street in Petralona, Athens, this contemporary residential building introduces a refined architectural intervention within the dense urban fabric of the city. The project consists of ten apartments distributed across eight levels, designed to meet the needs of modern urban living through clarity, functionality, and material precision.
Contemporary Façade Design
The building’s architectural identity is defined by a strong and balanced façade composition. Large terraces, exposed concrete lines, metal elements, and expansive glass surfaces create a clean and structured exterior expression.
Generous openings allow natural light and ventilation to penetrate deep into the apartments, enhancing comfort and spatial quality. At the same time, the façade acts as a filter between the intensity of the city and the privacy of the interior spaces.
The dark exterior palette reinforces the building’s urban presence, allowing it to blend naturally into its surroundings while maintaining a strong architectural identity.

Interior–Exterior Relationship
A key design principle of the project is the contrast between the dark exterior and the bright interior spaces. Light-toned materials and soft finishes inside create a calm and welcoming atmosphere, in contrast with the strong urban character of the façade.
This relationship reflects the character of Athens itself—where intensity and intimacy coexist.
Living Concept
The apartments are designed with flexibility and functionality in mind, supporting contemporary urban lifestyles. Open layouts and well-structured spaces ensure comfort, efficiency, and adaptability.
Private terraces extend the living areas outward, creating transitional spaces between interior life and the city.

The Petralona residential building is a contemporary urban residence that combines architectural clarity with functional design, offering a modern response to living in Athens.
