This project presents a renovation proposal for a plastic surgery clinic in the city center of Thessaloniki. The design focuses on the laser treatment and surgical procedure rooms, with an emphasis on clarity, hygiene, and patient comfort.
The architectural approach is defined by minimalism and spatial precision, combined with a warm and human-centered design language. The central placement of the treatment bed creates a balanced and controlled composition within the room.
Warm-toned wood is the dominant material throughout the clinic. It adds warmth, tactility, and visual depth, softening the typically clinical atmosphere of medical interiors. This material choice helps create a more welcoming and calming environment for patients.
The palette is based on neutral and earthy tones, combined with matte concrete flooring. This combination enhances cleanliness, durability, and visual simplicity while maintaining a refined aesthetic.
A layered lighting strategy is used to support both functionality and atmosphere.
Soft indirect lighting reduces visual stress and reinforces spatial clarity, while targeted lighting ensures precision in treatment areas.
The design approach focuses on quiet luxury. Clean lines, natural textures, and visual restraint define the identity of the space. Instead of a sterile environment, the clinic is reimagined as a calm, boutique-like medical interior.
The result is a high-end plastic surgery clinic in Thessaloniki that balances medical functionality with comfort, trust, and psychological well-being. The space prioritizes both efficiency and patient experience, creating an environment that feels safe, modern, and reassuring.
